Hair Bows

I have been making hair bows and clips for a few months now after going to buy some for meika and ended up spending $5 on one bow!! I went out and bought a whole bunch of ribbon and clips, and spent many night trying to figure out how to tie a bow.
Well Lately I have been trying to be more creative and created some flowers. This is one I made and clipped on Sienna who HATES when I do her hair!
I will have to take more pictures of some of the clips I have made.
I love glue guns!!!

Kelli's Wedding Reception

I was so glad that I ended up being in town for my friends wedding! I am so excited for her! I think she is the coolest girl EVER... her husband is a lucky guy!
Last friday Seth and I had planned a date night, so we jst ran over to the reception for a min. It was beautiful! Kelli looked great!

June Twenty Second Two Thousand And Seven

Today we were a little bored and so I went out and test drove my niece's scooter, it was pretty fun, but it goes really slow (maybe because it is made for kids) Nick and Brook said they have to wear their helmuts when they ride, so I had to wear it too! I actually had a lot of fun on it, but the breaks are not that great and so I thought I was going to crash going down the big hill in front of my parents house.


I did Sienna's hair and she hated it!
She was screaming and throwing herself back! But it turned out okay!

Poor Baby Sienna

Sunday Morning Sienna woke up with big blisters on the inside of both her pincky fingers. I really have no idea what they could be from! Seths Brother-in-law Chad, who is an emergency room doctor thought it looks like contact dermatitis ( something she had touched, like poisen ivy, but not poisen ivy).
Aunt Ruth has been such a great help with getting her little hands better... with her knowlegde of herbs and such. So I have been putting the stuff on her hands and wrapping them morning and night. They are looking better. But it was so sad!




But she continues to be the happiest baby ever!

Meika and Sienna took a nap in the portable crib together.... until Sienna woke up and started attacking meika.

Rick brought Brooke and Nick to stay at my parents house for a few weeks and He brought Reagan with them so we could all play with her... Sienna and Reagan are going to be best buds!

Huntington Beach

We took a quick trip to california last weekend, and we had a lot of fun playing in the sand and waves. Meika was actually really scared of the water, and Seth was a little sad because he was excited for her to play with him.

While we were in california Meika found her DREAM car. It was parked at the hotel next to our room and she called it her car.

The Millionaire Next Door

I just finished reading the book The Millionaire Next Door. I have been doing a paint-job for a doctor who recommended it to me. This doctor and his wife paid off their mortgage only one year after purchasing their first home. He said that some of his medical school graduate friends were shocked when they came to visit and saw what a small home they lived in. He said he is immune to social pressure to keep up with the Joneses. I was pretty familiar with the basic idea behind the book, but I still found that it really changed my perspective about money. It also made me feel really guilty that I don't budget. It was a eye-opening book. I recommend it to everyone. We are definitely now starting a budget. - Seth

A trip to "Nannas Temple"

Meika calls the Timponogos Temple "Nannas Temple" because last week while my Mom was working at the temple we drove be and I told Meika that Nanna was at the temple. So now she calls it her temple.
Yesterday we went to look at the temple and while there I decided to have a little photo shoot, it was a lot of fun, and the weather was just wonderful!

Cousins

Here is Meika holding her new little cousin, Ty, she asked if we could trade Sienna for Ty. Meggan told her they would take Sienna, but they couldn't give up Ty. I thought that was pretty cute!


Krew & Sienna are going to be best buds! Krew is getting so big! He can stand up and take one or two steps before he crashes.
