Sienna's New Haircut

Monday night I decided that I should probably get rid of Sienna's little mullet. I round brushed it after to see how it looked and when Seth came home he said "oh what a cute little boy". A cute little Boy?!?
So here are some pictures of our cute little boy!

This is Sienna and her don't look or talk to me right now face! She is a very fierce little girl! She does this funny walk where she swings her arm a lot. I think she is practicing for the runway!

Swimsuit Seasons Coming!

Okay so, I have a question for anyone who cares to share their opinion. For many years I have gone back and forth about what I think is appropriate for swim wear... At one point in my life I HATED one pieces... they go up your butt, they are so ugly, you can never find any that fit right..blah blah blah ( I am sure everyone knows how that goes. I know a lot of women who wear one pieces around their kids but on vacation with out the little ones they wear a two piece). I lately feel better in something that covers me up a little more, But I have seen a lot of LDS women wearing two pieces. So I wanted to hear how people felt about swimsuits..
Am I totally a nerd?!? Yeah I am ....

Fun Fun Fun Weekend!

Our weekend excitement started off on thursday, Seth gave me this wonderful fruit boquet for Valentines and the girls were so excited to enjoy fresh fruit for breakfast. And the fact that some were in the shape of a flower made it even more fun! So here's that yummy fun....

And Sienna with her I have been up for three hours and dressed for most of that time face!

Then the girls and I headed to this AWESOME park to meet Meika's preschool friends for some play time... This park is seriously so cool! The kids exchanged Valentines and had a really great time!



After having a good time at the park we picked up some lunch from this little Italian deli by our house and took it to Seth's work so we could spend a little time with him on Valentines day. It was really nice to eat lunch with Daddy... Meika and Sienna are always so excited when ever they get to play with him.
Seth gave Meika this rose, which she was SOOOO excited about and when we got home I noticed that she had cut the stem off and put the rose in a cup of water and placed it on her dresser. I thought that was the cutest thing ever! She really LOVES him.


Sorry this post is getting so long... but all the real fun happened on saturday when we ran errands with Sethie... the girls helped him wash the cars... we all took a nap, and then we had a babysitter come and watch the girls while we headed out to do some shopping (Seth for valentines gave me money for shopping and promised to come with me and while with me to be Happy about shopping) and then we went and saw Jumper which was pretty good. We really had a blast this weekend... I am so grateful for Seth and all the time and hard work he is putting into his schooling and work. I know it is just as hard for him to be away from his girls as it is for us not seeing him that much. But we sure do love him!

My Recent Dates

So I have been on a few dates in the past few weeks.... and none of them with my husband! The first one was with Meika and Sienna, we ate dinner and then went to a late movie at the Sunset Station Theater. We saw Alvin and the Chipmunks which was pretty cute!
My second date was with Meika and my friend and her daughter (Laura & Hayden)... We went and saw Enchanted for the second time and LOVED IT! That movie is the cutest...
The third date was with Meika and another friend and her daughter (Leesha & Jaylee) for this date we went and saw the high school preforming Beauty & The Beast, which was so good! Meika got a little antsy but the kids in the musical did an awesome job and the girl who played Belle was in our old ward so that was fun to see her performing.
So I am hoping to get a date with my busy husband sometime soon, but in the meantime the girls and I are trying to enjoy ourselves!

Super Bowl Sunday!

This is Seth and Meika so excited for the game to start and to start eating all the yummy food!Here is Meika eying all the snacks!
Sienna is bored and the game has not even started yet! Oh and by the way she got her ears pierce on friday and didn't even cry! I was so proud of her! Her favorite things lately are apples, so I gave her one before she had it done and after they did it she looked at them really confused and then kept eating her apple. So now she is wearing cute pink earings!
So by half time nobody was watching the game the girls had taken a bath and were now playing barbies.... oh and Sienna was telling me in her own language that Meika wouldn't give her the baby. The only thing I could really understand were "Mommie............blah...blah..... bebe" She has really been talking a lot lately!
Seth was in "His Office" Studying...
And I was busy making bows for my new blog that I started. Which if you have not seen yet it is Pink Little Ladies.
So all together we had a fun day with lots of junk food!

I love to see the temple!

I just wanted to take a second and say how much I love the temples! The las Vegas temple is not necessarily my "favorite" temple, but it it still a wonderful site! This was kinda of a random post, but I was able to go to the temple yesterday and just felt so blessed to have a temple so close... I had not been to this temple before because we are kinda of slackers and don't make it to the temple as often as we should, but I made that one of my goals for this year to go to the temple each month... so luckily I made in January (Barely)! I really have missed out on the blessings that come from attending the temple... Anyways sorry to bore you, I just wanted to share my excitement for the Las Vegas Temple! Oh and I am so glad that there are so many people willing to serve in the temple.. those old people really are sweet!

We Moved!

We are so glad to have MOVED! We had been hoping to move at the end of February but a couple weeks a go our neighbor told me that they had seen a man peeking in the girls window late that night and I seriously couldn't take it anymore so we headed to a hotel that night (Thanks to Molly) and didn't go back to the apartment till that weekend when Seth could be home and we packed the apartment up and moved out that Monday. We are really grateful for all those people who helped us in the moving process from watching our girls to letting us come over while Seth was not home to physically moving us. Thank you so MUCH!
We moved on Monday evening (some friends from our old ward actually did most the work while Seth was still at work-Thanks Guys!) And one of the first things Meika did when she got here was found her little tricycle and rode around the whole house... she didn't even know how to ride it before that night.
I had most of the home unpacked until yesterday Seth was home all day and brought all the remaing boxes in from the garage so he could park in there and so now I am back to square one.... lots of junk to go through! I told Seth just to throw the rest of the stuff away we didn't really need it... but he didn't go for it.
We went to the last hour of our new ward today (we thought it was at 1 but was actually at 11) and Meika loved it, she walked right into class and she said she had so much fun! It looks like there are a lot of young families in our ward which will be fun, but when I was sitting in relief society I was thinking how much I will miss our old ward. We really did love that ward! It was full of great people, so we hope to stay in touch with some of them!
I better go make dinner before the girls wake up from their nap... which by the way Meika put herslef down for a nap. Go Meika!

Plans to Move

We are so excited that we have found a home to rent a in a really nice area and are scheduled to move in on Jan 18th! We have been living in a tiny two bedroom apartment for the last year and a half and have been totally smashed! Seth & I can hardly wait to move, even though we both hate the packing and unpacking it will so be so worth it! We hope that everyone is well!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SETH!!

I wanted to wish Seth a Happy 28th Birthday! He has been so busy with school and work lately that that it was fun to see him have a day where he was able to relax and do whatever he wanted. The girls and I took him Cafe Rio for lunch on Thursday and surprised him with some Hello Kitty cupcakes that Meika picked out. He was really embarrassed because he didn't want anyone at work to know it was his birthday. But it was really fun to surprise him and work. Then Saturday we had a babysitter come watch the girls while we went to Dinner and a movie. That is Seth's favorite thing to do... DINNER AND A MOVIE!! It was nice to get out with out the girls! W e didn't really do anything today for his birthday... but I think he had a great Birthday weekend!
Anyways this is a picture of Seth with the Gifts we gave him... New Jeans, A family picture for his desk at work, a new tie, and some new pencils for school... His favorite gift was the family picture! (we had them taken last month and has been asking me everyday since then when I would get him a picture for his desk)My Grandma Ollech sent me some of her old wigs and this is Seth with one of them on... he was pretending he had some hair! Sienna was so scared, she wouldn't even go by him.

We love Sethie so much and really appreciate all the hard work he is doing at school and at work. He is a great Father and an awesome husband! We love ya!

We got to spend a little times with Seth's Family, we met them at the sandy mall and went on the carousel and got the kids pictures taken with Santa. We had a lot of fun, Meika was sad she couldn't spend more time with her cousins, but hopefully next time! Terri took these pictures and it was hard because the horses go up and down so some of the heads are cut off! So sorry!

Thanksgiving in Utah

These are some pictures taken while we were in St. George where we had Thanksgiving Dinner. In the picture of Sienna standing you can see her little cousin Krew (who is older then her), they had so much fun together. Then there is my brother holding my niece Reagan, who is a couple months younger then Sienna. And there is Meggan my sister-in-law with her baby Ty.


This is Sienna, the day we were leaving Seth left really early to go back home and I had him take somethings with him because the girls and I were heading on to Alpine and I didn't want to lug everything around, so Sienna was without a crib... so I put her in the closet and shut the door. And surprisingly she fell right asleep!

Sunday Night we went to Temple Square to see the lights and it was FREEZING! But it is so fun to see all the lights! It seems like we are always so excited to go up there and then when we get there it everyone is freezing so we hurry see all the lights and rush out! Sienna

Sienna has been doing some really funny things lately, last month I had put her to sleep in the portable crib and went in to check on her and she was NAKED! She had taken her diaper off! I thought it was so cute! Some other crazy things that she just started doing are, climbing up on the couch, climbing onto the kitchen chairs, climbing onto Meika's bed.... She is doing alot of climbing lately!

This picture is of Sienna opening her birthday presents from Grandma Ballstaedt, she sent a box full of lots of little presents that were all individually wrapped and Sienna loved ripping them open. I know I took pictures of her eating her birthday cake but I can't remember if I posted them or not so I guess I should look for those and make sure they don't get lost.

Cute Diaper Bag

Last night Seth went to bed really early so I decided to play on the computer. I found and ordered the sewing pattern for this adorable diaper bag. I can not wait to get it and get working on it. I will let you know how it goes once I start working on it.

Can you Believe this Hair?

This morning I round brushed Meika's hair and was surprised at how long and beautiful it was! We usually put it up in bums or let it air dry curly.
I swear she has more hair then me! She had to have gotten this thick hair from the Ballstaedt Family. So thank you very much!

Sick Babies

Last week both of our girls got sick with the flu or something like it. It started out with Sienna who threw up and pooped for a couple days and then at about 2 in the morning on thursday we heard a hudge vomit sound and woke up to see Meika covered in throw up along with everything else around her. It was really sad, she was half asleep crying. I really felt bad for her, and that is why she got the all so awesome sick treatment. She seriously laid on the couch all day the next day watching t.v. and sleeping (mostly sleeping). She got to drink 7up, Gatorade, Applesauce (with a little probioplex mixed in), and pretty much anything else she wanted. Which wasn't really anything.
But for me, these were some very horrible days, between vomit, poop, crying babies and lots of yucky laundry by the time they were all better I felt like it was my turn to have some sick treatment.
Anyways these are some pictures of the girls while they were sick!
